See and listen to the tale by Eric Carle "The very hungry caterpillar"
Fill in the gaps:
In the light of the moon a little egg lay on a leaf.

the warm sun came up and-pop! Of the egg came a tiny and very hungry
caterpillar.

The next was Sunday again.
The caterpillar ate through one nice 11_________ leaf, and after that he felt much better.
Now, he wasn’t hungry any more and he wasn’t a little
caterpillar any more. He was a big, fat caterpillar.
He built a small house, called cocoon, around himself.
He stayed inside for more than two 12___________.
Then he nibbled a hole in the cocoon, pushed his way out and….
He was a beautiful butterfly!!

ResponderEliminarYou have created a very nice post, of course. The video about “The very hungry caterpillar” is beautiful and has the level adequate for young students as primary pupils.
It allows them to learn a lot of vocabulary as the days of the week, food, prepositions, adjectives, past tense, etc. They can do it in an amusing manner watching an entertaining film, and it is more motivational for them than do it through traditional methods.
The activity that you have designed is very good. The students practice their listening, reading and writing skills because they have to pay attention for the video in order to fill the gaps correctly.
However, in my opinion, you could put the link to the activity worksheet so that the students can download it. I think that if they would have it and they can see the video and the text at the same time, the activity would be easier for them.
